My name is Geiza. I was born and raised in Brazil, and I immigrated to Canada in 2002. I’ve had many adventures ever since, always working hard, adapting and learning. I love gardening, everything vintage and coffee. Today, I have a beautiful family with my husband, and I am a very proud mom of two wonderful teenagers and an adorable rescued dog.

A few years ago, I started dreaming up a small business where I could work with something that I love and feel connected to; something related to my roots and my culture. In Fall 2025, Amora Hammocks began to take shape.

We offer the traditional Brazilian Hammock, hand-woven in a classic Brazilian technique, made by talented local artisans from the state of Paraiba, Brazil. Our hammocks are made from cotton fibre, with vibrant colours and intricate macrame fringes, creating a very unique look. They are comfortable, strong, and durable and perfect for any backyard. 

Hammocks offer body relaxation, stress relief, and a better nap time. I truly hope you enjoy your hammock as much as my family and I enjoy ours.
